Curate a local music festival

We used to have local music festivals back in the day but this hasn't run for about 10 years now. We could use this funding to get the Greentown music festival going again. This would help use the money to create a legacy in the town.

Why the contribution is important

We have lots of great local talent in the area which could be showcased during this event.

This sounds like a great idea. I remember the music festival back in the day.
We can't let the festival become commercialised and crowded like the big ones, we've got to make it keeps the character of Scotstown!

I really like this idea! Maybe we could also get bands from across Scotland to raise the profile of the event and increase attendance?

This is a fantastic idea, I teach at the music college in Greentown and we could run a competition for our students with the best band winning the chance to play at the festival. This would be motivation for our students as well as showing the brilliant talent we have in our own town.
Also, if we charged a small fee for stall holders to supply food or sell things at it, and encouraged one or more of the local pubs/breweries to run a licensed bar with some of the proceeds coming back to the festival then we should make back money to continue the festival for many years
