Greentown Zipline

Greentown has two large large hills at either end (as we know) with the co-op supermartket on one and the school on the other. Like many people, I often have to travel between the two, which involves a lot of tedious walking up and down. I therefore propose to spend the money on creating a zipline that could span the two hills, vastly reducing the time to travel between them, whilst also giving the parents a well needed shot of adrenaline to break the monotony of their schedules.

Why the contribution is important

My idea is important as it will greatly increase the amount of time parents can spend not walking up and down hills, which will free their schedules to watch more daytime TV. This is vital.

I couldn't agree more with BenF I think this is a fantastic idea. I actually also think this could be used as a pilot for other similar towns and could be a pioneer idea as part of bringing playable cities to our town.

    Love the idea!

But how safe will it be, will it fall foul of health and safety?

How do you propose to get your shopping back via zip line? I mean, I'm all for fun but there are some practical aspects to this as well.
Saying that, if you're not shopping then this is a nice idea and it might bring media attention to our town as well as inspiring other towns and places to have a bit more fun with their landscape - but it will only take one child to get hurt for this to turn from a good idea to a bad one. I'm undecided.

There is no way this will work, we would need to build 2 zip lines to ensure people can cross back and forwards. And what is to stop the zip wire being vandalised!?
